Wouldn’t it be cool if the Radion communicated wirelessly with other Radion units and coordinated with other EcoTech equipment?

Well, it does.

Radion lights will communicate with any EcoSmart “w” enabled VorTech pumps in addition to any future equipment designed to work on the EcoSmart platform. Coordinated night mode, storms and other light- and water-synchronized features are what you can expect from the wireless functionality that comes standard with the Radion.

The Radion is fully compatible with the EcoTech Battery Backup.

In the event of a power outage, lack of light energy over the aquarium results in corals switching from photosynthesis (producing oxygen) to respiration (consuming oxygen). When used with a Battery Backup accessory, the Radion emits low levels of light intended to prevent corals from respiring, and therefore; your Radion will help to maintain an oxygen-rich environment for your fish during this critical time period

Pricing

Pricing has been set for Canada by Ecotech directly!! A full statement on Ecotech international sales policy will follow once they are back from Macna.

Canadian MRSP is set at $825.00 across the board this also is fixed so there is no need to go calling round for that special deal. Ecotech have informed us also that USA retailers can not sell units into canada to stop warranty and support issues.

Availability and pre orders

Aqua Digital inc has gone to great lengths to secure the first batches arriving in Canada at the end of this month. Our whole supply chain which accounts for 90% of mainstream retailers in Canada are signed up to our supply chain now.

To place a pre order, please contact you retailer to make sure you get one of the first launched. As soon as we have the order will make sure enough stock is on hand to cover those orders. To expedite delivery we will drop ship all dealers orders as requested to the client on the dealers behalf by FedEx. This offer ends on the 30th September. Your dealer will let you know at time of ordering the shipping cost. Of course you cna collect also from your LFS directly.

I was at their booth when it opened this morning...very nice light. Build quality was pretty crazy. No doubt this thing is pumping out lots of light.

How sharp is the edge of coverage on these? Ie on a 36x18 tank with one unit will the sides be shaded?
