Vertex Refractometer. I didnt calibrate it for a month and it shifted my reading by 0.002 which is why i did a salinity shift.

I ran my tank at 1.035 for a while without anything bad, so I wouldn't guess salinity.

Weird, I was getting RTN at 1.030 awhile back.

Maybe you have some touchier corals. I've also run my tank at about 1.030-1.031 without any problems. Not that I do that on a regular basis, it was a bad month for intelligence.

I'm not sure how long my tank was that high for...it is possible it was 6 months. That might be why I was having issues. It was simply the maintenance company lacking to check salinity before/after water changes. I do have a couple really finicky pieces (that drive me mad lol), but they weren't the ones bothered. A Stylo and a Bali tricolor were the ones RTNing. Once the salinity lowered they healed right up. Coulda been something else, but it appeared to be cut and dry.

Strange. Mine was high for months (accidentally) without any RTN at all.
