Was just looking at the Cree website there and unfortunately 450nm the ones we have are the lowest wavelength they produce I wonder if they will try to bring out lower range colors just for reefs. My guess is I doubt it.

People have to source their violet led's from makers other than Cree...I think they are getting more popular now though.

hey,

could you send me an email with a quote for a kit suitable for my tank.
also those pictures of hoods/fixtures would be great.

the lights would be only a couple inches above the water as i cannot have them suspended higher due to light spillage. so i guess i would need some sort of protection from the tank water. glass shield be sufficient?
