well Ive started the stock piling process for the upgrade( let the wallet draining begin)......I have about 40 lbs of marco rock cooking/seeding in a rubbermaid with about 30lbs of both new and old LR from my sump...That coupled with the 150 lbs or so of rock in the display should be a good start....Ive picked up three buckets of H2Ocean and a couple boxes of IO...... will likely start the tank with IO and then do water changes with the H2Ocean.....I also picked up 120 lbs of new sand.......I need to get the stand built (going with a metal stand).....need to design a sump.......need to decide on lighting......need to figure out what Im gonna do for a skimmer.....the skimmer I would want is a BK 300int, but at $2400, thats something that is way out of my league......I thought about the big vertex cone too, but thats not really all that much cheaper in the grand scheme of things.......Im actually leaning towards keeping my BK mini 180 and adding another skimmer of a similar rating......the new sump should have plenty of room for two skimmers.......not sure tho.....one thing I am sure of is, Im going with an external pump......either a snapper gold, or a super dart gold.....if I do the snapper then I will run reactors off of their own pumps and the small tank(If I decide to plumb that in again) will have its own return.....if I go with the dart, then I will do a manifold to run the reactors and the small tank off of the dart....both my brain and wallet hurt just thinking about it all.....

anyway.......moar pics

Sounds like it's going to be a very nice tank, love the front to back dimensions.

If you EVER need any help moving the tank, please don't hesitate to call........Brett.
