Well the simple way that someone suggested to me was to simply make a box out of glass but drill it so water can move through it and drop it in the tank.
I'll go acrylic though and stick with the true L shaped tank. Still trying to figure out the logistics of it and might go bull nose as well.   God Bless Google Sketchup.
