![]() i use a GHL 2 pump in my 22 gal, had trouble maintaining levels with just water changes before that, now its really stable. dose 2 part for KH and Ca. use a deltic 300 HOB skimmer but no pellets i got macro in my sump at the back of the tank. grows well, no detection of Nitrates, corals happy.
I do now some guys were running biopellets in their similar sized systems heavily stocked.

![]() On my 29g I was running a 4 pump GHL - Mg, Alk, Ca and vodka. It was a full SPS reef so it lost about 2dkh and 20ppm of Alk and Ca a day. Definitely worthwhile.

![]() I also did it on my biocube. I went away for about a week at a time so the doser was fantastic.

![]() i used to vodka dose in my 25 when i had a skimmer. now my system is skimmerless and i have dosers running b-ionic 2 part. my tank has too much uptake to rely on water changes alone so dosing is vital.

![]() I use a small aquaclear to run zeovit media in my 18 gallon. i shake it out daily to prevent buildup. pellets will clog up without constant tumbling
