![]() What's a safe drying time to allow, for PVC glue, before i can add new plumbing to my tank. Should i let it cure for a few days?

![]() Technically you should let it sit overnight, but I too have glued joints and turned the water on after about 5 min
![]() If you are attaching spa flex I would definately be sure to give it some extra time. Overnight would be best though IMO. |

![]() Just try to pull it apart after 30 seconds! Personally I also wait over night, not because I think it will leak but because I'm unsure how salt water will react to the glue before it fully hardens.

![]() ive stuck it in the water after 5 minutes.... but i wouldnt recommend it, although i had no problems

![]() If I remember correctly, the instructions will te ll you 30 minutes. I waited until the next day.

![]() i waited 2 hours no issues. 5 mins!? I was way to paranoid to attempt that not knowing the repercussions. If you want to waste some time drop alittle bit of the glue into an unused bucket of tap water and watch it spin spin spin around!...
+1 on the 12-24hr thing..
