| the worst thing about smart meters is the ability for BC hydro to make us pay more based on time of day use. Steve

| I could care less about the smart meters, in my case time of day usage charging may even be a good thing. I don't use that much power during most days. Plus, they'll start making it worth investing in some solar panels, wind power, bank of batteries, inverter, transfer relay etc and selling power back to BC Hydro. That is if you have about $10K minimum to invest. I just wish they'd spend some money on coming to my old neighbourhood and burying all the power lines. All the residential areas built around the '70s & later here in Vernon have buried power lines. Makes for a much cleaner look on the street and in the alleys.
