![]() I had been shopping at Aquaworld when I first started my FOWLR tank. The owner asked me if I am interested to put $30.000 for an investment ... well, too make the story short, they closed down after 1 year. As I am in business too, I can see most of the time, before they went bankrupt they always try to get some money back, they try to sell or looking for an "investment" person. If they are making good money they never want to have another "partner" to share their money. So watch out ... for instance J&L doesn't need a "partner" even if you ask them. Actually, I liked that place, it had a spacious place to shop and good prices.

![]() Remember Aquaworld as well, it was them who got me interested in reef tanks. Perkys is still around, they moved to Surrey, same name I believe, the New West store was too small for them.

![]() They actually tore down the old building Perky's was in so Roger had to move (to Surrey/Delta on 120th).
