exactly what I was getting at. Its just one of those species that will drive you nuts but when it takes off it will look awesome

Glad to hear its not just mine that are going slow. I have two frags like the one you are showing. One of them has encrusted and then stopped growing and the other one hasn't done a thing. My parameters are all bang on as far as growing conditions go so I guess we just need to be patient.

I am with fishytime, what is your magnesium at? I have a similar one in my tank. An ice fire and until I started dosing magnesium, it was like yours, it wouldn't grow.
