My latest purchase... I'm so stoked.
Over the last few months, I've been slowly acquiring parts for a future tank.
Red Sea Wavemaker - eBay - 110 CDN (shipping included) Tunze Universal 220/3 skimmer - thanks yifan917 {Canreef} - 150 CDN 2 10 gallon tanks (future refugium and QT) - thanks kris {Canreef} - 5 CDN each The big news... Yesterday, I had to rent a van to pick up my new pride and joy... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EBWN%3AIT&rd=1 "175 Gallon Oceanic Bow Front tank, mint condition, includes tank, full bottom cabinet, and full top canopy." I checked out Big Al's and they sell it as a package for about $3000 CDN I checked out J&L and they sell the tank for $1319 + canopy $99 + stand $599 = 2017 +tx - I got it for all for $810 CDN. (+$50 to rent the van) I know the skimmer won't be enough... I bought the skimmer back when I thought I would be getting a 90 gallon tank. Sorry, I'm rambling.... I am just so stoked. I could barely sleep last night. Be prepared for the barrage of setup questions to follow. Paul.
