![]() If you really want RO/DI you don't have to hard wire your unit. I ran mine on the counter top for about a year. Just tucked it underneath when I wasn't using it.
Vancouver's water is pretty good and you could probably get away with just a DI unit http://www.jlaquatics.com/product/ro...er+Filter.html I have one you could have $10 (probably needs new resin). Used it for a year and was happy with it.

Just out of curiosity... Does anyone have a source for the water quality of Vancouver water, re: dissolved solids and trace element content. I'm not from Vancouver originally, and back home I know that the water treatment board posted the water quality parameters on the web. |

![]() im in east van, my tds reads 12ish right out the tap. i thiught that was a lot till i read most places start in the hundreds. lol.
