I picked up some from Eli early this week, what I can tell you at this time is that it rinsed very clean, no residue, I put some in a mesh bag and run it passively, my water is crystal clear - had to go out of town and won't be back till Monday, but the 2 days I was home for was really impressed with the clarity of the water

I haven't used Rox from Brs so I can't compare, also, I used only a small amount since I was going to be away

That's all I have for now

That's good.
Every bit that we can observe and contribute helps, right??
Hopefully we can hear more from others who have used it to chime in.

Thank you for the input.
There are few people already using the product and we should in the next week or so see some more input from some of us on canreef.

Eli, is the weight/volume the same with your carbon as it is with Rox 0.8? 15 Lbs of the 0.8 is 5 Gal, is your Rox 1.3 the same?

One more thing: you need to update your home page, the sale is shown as ending on May 4th.

I'm thinking it's time to place and order. It would be nice to hear a couple of members experiences. The last order of rock and chemicals went exceptionally well, I'm very happy with my purchase! Sounds like you're doing an awesome job in the customer service department, nice work Eli!

Rox is a much better product for any saltwater tank. The top grade of superior absorption properties and an ultra high purity levels.
Its surface area is much greater than any activated carbon being used by aquarist. Steam and acid washed, low mineral content and a combination of large, medium and micro pores for better filtration,.. With all that said thats where the price is higher than your regular Activated carbon.

I just finished putting out samples out with orders hopefully people will place their own findings about ROX1.3
If you purchase the product that would mean you like it as i do give out samples with orders.
