Default Curing Shells?

I've got some shells and misc pieces that was in a aquarium a few months ago. Since I didn't have a big enough tank the pieces sat in a dry cooler. I finally upgraded my tank, and want to put those pieces in. Do I have to cure these shells etc? Or just rinsing them off is good?

Den,

I think all you would need to do to make sure there is nothing bad on them is throw em in a pot and boil, let them dry and you are set. It doesn't take long and can save a headache or two. I have done it myself.
