Reef Wholesale Dealers will be able to offer Coral Magazine going forward at at the rate of $7.99 CAD.
This could change depending on the strength of the dollar in the future.

As for the subscription prices, they are higher than the rate RW dealers will be able to offer them because, to date, subscriptions had to ship from the US which added alot onto the cost.
We are excited to be able to help make Coral Magazine more affordable and available throughout Canada.

Our first order of the March/April Magazine will be available as Patrick mentioned for shipping to dealers at the beginning of next week.

Wtf?? I pay for that subscription! Should I cancel? That's annoying. I do agree it is the best reefkeeping magazine in North America, but now I feel like I'm getting ripped off.

It is cheaper, but just barely.
I wouldn't cancel your subscription, but if you are close to an RW dealer it might make sense to not re-new the order and just pick it up at your local dealer next year.

I believe a subscription costs you $8.12/magazine comparitively.

I was just talking about this with a freind a week ago. I too have a subscription but I dont pay for it. How? I dont know. It just comes. I edited a post earlier but someone has since posted that there is a free app for iphones and ipad users.

Same here Madreefer. I did not subscribe but I just received my second issue this year. It seemed to coincide with the same time I received my PADI advanced dive card but that could just be coincidence.

I would.. as soon as you find someplace that carries it. subscriptions of normal mags are normaly 1/2 to 2/3s the shelf rate.

I think that these mag are closer to $10.00CAD than $8+ subscribed.

I put in a subscription for three years to get closer to $7.00/mag, but that's due to the CAD strength. And they usually arrive later than what the lfs can get it, too.

Anyone living close to a lfs who carries it should set up a subscription contract with the lfs instead. Have the lfs put it aside for you as they come in.

But I do agree that it is a mag that's the best out there.

They are $7 each with a subscription. 7/$49 or 13/$91. But ya they do arrive later than in the stores.
