After a little late night shopping I scored some magician paly's. I was dumb and only bought a frag of them but I am thinking of going back for the colony on Monday. Here are some pictures from lastnight after about 30min in the tank.

After a trip to Home Depot lastnight I tried the Oatey Fix-it stick. I am not too happy with the product. I does the job for some of the basic stuff but I tired to mount some pieces horizontal and it wouldnt stick to the plugs too well. I think they are too smooth where as the D-D epoxy worked really well. I guess I could have used superglue as well but I didnt have any.

It also hardens really fast (1 or 2 minutes after mixing) so that kinda surprised me. The D-D stuff takes a little longer to dry so you can mix a bunch then break it off as you need it. The downside it stays soft so you have to make sure you have stuff really planted in there.

For the $8/tube it costed me it was a good product but I think I will stick with the D-D for the extra $4. Oh I used 2/3s of a tub and my skimmer didnt go too crazy. It did get a little more wet but it wasnt too bad.

I am a little behind, been a little busy around here the past few days. A few days ago I switched some LR around and ditched the island. I moved it into the back to continue the wall. I think I want to continue brining rock forward on the right side to make a cove there. Keep the rock low with maybe a little point near the front.

Mike finally made his way over here yesterday and was impressed on how the tank was looking so that was happy to hear him say that.

I fed Fauna Marin tonight and snapped some photos plus Top downs. Let me know what you guys think!

Purple & Blue Chalice

Meteor Shower Cyphastrea

Pumpkin Patch Favia

Japanese Fruitloops inhaling the FM

Ultra Australian Acans

Ultra Australian Acans

New York Lights Favia

Japanese Micromussa

Extra FM floating around in the water

Hammer Coral taking in the FM

Red & Green Blastomussa wellsi

Armor of God Plays taking it in

These guys are waiting to go to their new home

And now for some TD photos

I bought this tabling Acro when it was purple. Under the halides its turning more & more blue!!

Electric Green Deepwater

Blue Polyp Austera finally coloring back up. Cant wait!

Sunset Monti looking good

Cali Tortusa

Supergrape Mille. I cant wait for this one to grow up!

Rainbow Stylo

Nice hot pink Monti Cap

My Super Ultra Favia starting to colour back up. Its Yellow is stating to poke through.

Orange Digi

I am not sure what type of acro this is but its starting to be one of my favorites. Its a nice purple color with bright white polyps

You cant see much right now but once this Pokerstar Monti grows over the epoxy it will make for great TD photos. Its looking amazing as well, I cant beleive how good things are looking so soon after start-up.

My little A. Turaki frag starting to grow

Orange Crush Acans

My Birdnest is looking good as well. Here it is peeking out from the rocks.

Well after a 300km road trip that ended us in Lethbridge (long story) I found some new stuff locally for the tank. Crappy iPhone4 pictures for now, sorry guys.

First up is a Hot Pink Mille that Mike and I went in on.

Next up is a sweet blue Porcelain crab I found at TFI.

After finally making it to Medicine hat I found a few more additions to the tank.

Some cool red with green flake Blastomuss wellsi.

Also picked up 2 new 3/4" flare nozzles for my returns.

Today when I went out to get some food for the reptiles I pcked up another pail of Instant Ocean and scored a pretty good deal on some Hermits. I will probably regret this adding these guys but everything is secured down so I hope they dont knock too much around.
