What kind of LEDs are you using? Wow just fantastic.

They are all cree leds I attached to a heatsink and hooked up together. It's an array of colours including Cool blue, Royal blue, Neutral white, Cool white and true violet.

The colours are activated by the Royal blue largely. The cool blue has a small effect on making greens better and the violets and neutral whites are part of an experiment in the DIY community to promote coral health and growth. So far the results are great. One day the DIY community will figure out the perfect spectrum.

Thanks for the view box Greg . Excuse the sand bits... some fish was being a jerk.

There's actually two morphs on this rock.. getting them in the picture.. well that's a challenge for another day:

FINALLY I was actually able to see what this acan actually looks like. It's so flat (not a lord) so it's hard to get pics from the glass face. I didn't even know one had two mouth . Yah for splitting!

Would you consider doing a thread in the DIY forum for your light? Please and thank you?

Sure but I mean all my knowledge on the matter is pulled from so many others. I can show some pics but for the most part I'll be putting links down to the good resources I used .
