![]() My daily light cycle for winter is 3pm to 3am atinics, which is 2 overdriven t5 @ 80w per with ati blue bulbs, halides kick on at 6pm to 1 am and I am running 2x250w hqi ushio 20k.
For summer the atinics come on at 6pm to 6am halides from 9pm to 3 am and the reason for this is because of heat. I generally run my lights really late aswell because I am at work all day and want to see the tank at night, I tend to run the halides longer in the winter and less in the summer... My tank also gets natural light from a window so that helps...
