So now I am at the point where I am starting to think of stocking my 2-3 small fishies... will be picking up a red fire shrimp along with some more snails this evening I think. I would love to find a red mandarin goby that eats anything and wouldnt mind the small quarters but I hear there are quite some challenges with this fish though.

Any other fish suggestions out there?

the red mandarin wont do well in tank IMO they eat pods and there is no way you will have enough pods in there ever for him, sure you can buy live pops for him but that gets expensive.

Even if they are eating frozen food they still eat pods all day long..

Thanks for the input. Yes I realize the tank is probably too small for a mandarin. Its on my wish list of fish but I know its not practical to put one in the Edge.

Nice and creative build! Looking forward to seeing what you stock it with.

It's hard enough to keep a Mandarin happy in a 90 due to the pod issue. I would cross it off your list.

I love the way these "Edge" tanks look but they sure are a pain in the butt to work in....very cool that you sumped one out!....heres a couple stocking suggestions.....what about a Yasha/pistol combo??.....or maybe a trimma type goby and some small critters like sexy shrimp and pom-pom crabs?? clown gobies would probably work too

I think small gobies would look good in there. A fire shrimp would look big in a tank that small when full grown.

clown goby
trimma gobies
maybe a harlequin shrimp

you need an emerald crab for that bubble algae. Better take care of that sonner than later.

you cant put much in there cause its such a small tank but it has plenty of potential.

actually ... I meant corals. Edited my previous post.

I currently have probably a bit too much livestock in here. Live and learn.
1 red Fire Shrimp
1 peppermint shrimp
1 purple firefish
1 hi fin banded goby
2 red spotted gobies
2 barnacle blenny
1 blue leg hermit crab
bunch of nassarius, trochus snails and 1 spiny astrea snail
a couple of crabs that were hitch hikers from the LR

The bubble algae was removed and havent seen any more start to grow yet.
