Thanks for the offer guys. It just so happens my glass is in town and I have to pack it in down stairs, so I might be calling in a few favours in the next couple of days.
That being said I have to go and finish the stand off, the welding is all done just have to prime and paint up all the welds and some of the surrounding area. Cut the shelves up so have to seal up those as well before the sump and frag tanks are made up.
Well what you saw so far is about 4 days work so I hope you don't expect this amount of pics daily.

Destruction is one of the things I do best Doug. The problem is getting everything back together again.

Man, such a clean wall removal. I'd have drywall dust clear into the next country and there is nary a speck of it anywhere...

Neat idea with the centre overflow, you don't see too many 4 sided viewing tanks too often ... which is too bad I think it's kinda neat. Good on ya' man.

Wow! I vaguely remember talking about you setting up a large tank in your basement and I remember thinking/partly discussing where'd you put it.....and I remember thinking first you just have to knock out that wall.....and then you'd have lots of room, however I don't remember if I said that out load of not, so WOW you actually did that! Cool!

I also love that the tank is going to be 42" wide, I really like the look of wide tanks. The stand looks great

Happy with the look so far, I'm glad I can do a peninsula, I think it will really look sweet after it's all set up.
