![]() Based on how this thread is going so far, I think it might be a good idea if you do this with someone on hand that has some experience with electricity. It's a little dicey trying to provide safe advice regarding the hookup of this nature without some photos & more details on how this rig looks at the moment, even if it is a low voltage DC job. Electrical tape is not the best way to connect wiring.

![]() Mar connectors are also very safe.. I've used them on all my fan wiring jobs.
