![]() I personally am of the belief that you can't have too much light. We can never replicate the power of the sun. It's a matter of how you use your light and how much time you have them on. Hope this helps in your decision of selecting your lighting.

![]() I have 2x250w and 2x24w T5 over my 36x24x26
It's not too much light but I did shock my corals. They're slowly forgiving me and getting their colour back. Take it slow! Right now I have my mh on for 5 hrs/day which isn't much but I really messed up with how fast I ramped up the second mh when it was added. |

![]() So what would be a proper amount of time to start with? For instance I have a 30g tank that I just put a single MH on and have it set to run for 4hrs from 11hrs of two T5s
