They just fell apart in the third. 3 nothing into the third. Jitters and nerves seemed to be a problem for them this year. When they just settled down and played they were unstoppable.

BOOOOO!!!!!!!! 5-3 and Russia won it!!!! GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!! That 3 period really really sucked!!!!!!!! Can't believe they got 5 goals all in the third!!!!!! WOW did I mentioned that SUCKED

Kudo's to the Russians for not giving up but what the heck, It was like they{canadians} fell asleep, no defence, no goaltending and no offence, maybe they forgot it's a 60 minute game.
 I feel sorry for those guys, its a lot of pressure on them, one of my buddies said he hasn't seen a collapse like that since 911. Maybe a little extreme but it seems we as Canadians put our "game" as more of a priority than other countries do....next year guys, next year.Last edited by dsaundry; 01-06-2011 at 04:33 PM. That was a rough 3rd period to watch. We dominated the rest of the game, shame they fell apart in the third. Good job of the russians picking that up though, I guess we know why a big chunk of the NHL's russian now :P
