Default E Bay MH SE bulbs 250W

Is it me or all places that sell MH SE bulbs, the prices are extremely high or they have a lack of good brands.

Mega Chrome Bulbs 132 crazy

So has any one tried the SE 250's 10K and 14k from Ebay and if so what ballasts are you running them on

Wow, great link, i've looked for those par ratings for a LONG time. I ran a 175 on my 55 as an LPS tank. I found it worked fine, i had a couple sps frags growing close to the light, everything else did well. There's some nice tanks out that use the cheapo's too, like the site said, you have to know that they're in the bottom 1/3 of par ratings. But, if you know that you can always throw another bublb across the top for some overlap, and if your tanks shallow shouldn't be much different imo.

For the record, i'm using xm 10K's now, and coral growth is FAR better... but new tank etc, so lots of variables thrown in.
