Nice scores Doug. I've got a matching frag of that there coral.

I saw this on LA:

They call it an Aussie War Coral. Somewhere I saw it called favites. Is Favites and Favia the same thing? Is this pic of the same coral as ours? I hope so!

"aussie war" or if you want to call it by the cool designer name, "clash of the titans fav".....favites and favia are the same AND the pic is indeed what we have

Mine too! feel lucky to have scored a frag......that being said we got a huge one in at the shop just before Xmas.....it was the size of a dinner plate!

couple fish updates......I realized that I never mentioned that I got a deep water coral beauty........like three months ago...................................... ....and I know what I said when I lost my powder brown................but Laurie made me do it!.......I added a powder blue two/three weeks ago............I know.........Im weak.......the thing that made me try again was this PB was at the shop for a couple weeks and he already settled in enough to come and pick at the hair on my arm while I was cleaning his tank......extremely rare that a tang settles in that quick in a lfs environment..... so far he is doing really well.....got my fingers crossed though....

heres a couple invert pics

blue tuxedo

and I got this wicked feather duster from Laurie as a "tank stuffer" x-mas prezzie.....Ive never seen one like this before.....

Im with you there brochacho......the new feather duster makes three for me, plus I have a red cocoworm........come to think of ot I seem to have a serious weakness for inverts in general......the add on tank is basically all inverts..... Hawaiian feather dusters(2), the coco, small crocea, money cowries(2),pom poms(3), purple porcelain crabs(2).......I doooo love cool critters....obviously my Girly knows that too.....she gave my these two critters as "tank stuffers" too.(have I mentioned she rocks?)

white porcelain crab

sexy shrimp (love the booty wiggle)

and since Im now in invert mode

Hawaiian Feathers

purple porcelain crab
