Wow, I like the redesign... The dry side motor seems to have vents, the wet side has a sexy shape to it.

Lighting: 5ft Hamilton Belize Sun (2x250W MH, 2X80W T5HO)
Type of Aquarium: mixed reef (SPS & LPS) with fish
Dosing: Mg, Ca, Alk

yeah they're air-cooled. I think there's blades that turn in the back to vent out but maybe I'm remembering wrong and it's passive.

Have any issues with your pumps yet? If i cranked mine all the way up the wet sides would spin then don't anymore, checked like 6 times for proper fit/no air behind. They seem to found a happy spot now.
