![]() Well, when the tank is empty, the center brace sags, and when you fill the tank the centre brace is tight. Would that not be serving some, albeit small, strengthening?

![]() Em ,absolutely. As I said, if it also contains the centre brace, taking it off isn't a good idea. The frame aloe though provides no structural support
