Unhappy My Rics!!!!! I could cry

Checking out my 2 twenty gallons this morning and I am where is my beautiful fluorescent yellow ric. in the one tank and my fluorescent one in the other???? I only have 4 chromis's, 1 yellow and blue damsel, hermit crabs and a 3 snails in each tank. Would one of my fish eat them????!!!!. I have never even seen them pick at them. My first finger pointing would be at the bigger hermit but they only seem to knock over the frags not touch them. Although this morning I have a snail stuck on my purple ric. That is very odd. Would or could the snail be eating them???!!!! I can't even tell you how upset I am. I love my rics. Some advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Are they Yumas or Floridas? Yumas will melt for no reason or as mentioned either kind can detach and go floating. Not too many things that will eat mushrooms.
