i gave up on sand awhile ago deffinatelly bare all the way!!!

Wow, I like the redesign... The dry side motor seems to have vents, the wet side has a sexy shape to it.

yeah they're air-cooled. I think there's blades that turn in the back to vent out but maybe I'm remembering wrong and it's passive.
