I put you down for 25 which is $75usd plus some extra shipping charges

btw these leds can be compared at $7.95 on the CW to places like reefledlights.com... thats a $3+ savings per LED! which adds up quick.

Default Led verses 4 bulb tel light

Would these LEDs be better than a tek light, I have alot of corals mostly Sps.
Would my corals still grow?

yes and yes but you can just plug these in
you need to build a led fixture

The fixture im building is similar to 3x 250-400 MH fixture

Would I be able to incorperate night
Lights as well?
How many bulbs should I use for a standard 90gallon, and what colour to use?
What would the cost be about?
What else would I need to buy?
Anyways I'm interested but know nothing about them.

you could do a moonlight several different ways, I still havent decided how I would do mine.

A standard 90 wanting to keep SPS could build two of the modules im building.
http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=70413
of course you need different drivers for two modules.

to build an LED light you would need:
LEDs
Heatsink
Drivers
thermal paste
solder + soldering iron
screws
wire

If you follow along on my thread, ill be detailing it step by step. You can also search LED DIY builds and they will explain how to do it too.
There is also videos on youtube.

cost for a two 48LED modules would probably be under 1k

first post updated with questions answered

looks like there is no tax at the vendor end but when it hits the border there will be tax. So expect a % ontop of the total LED cost to cover the border cash grab. Im not sure how to charge this one, anyone got some ideas?

http://www.chillicious.com/finance/c...es-for-canada/
looks like 8%? but im guessing this was written before the HST?
