you know the hippos are surprisingly affordable.....not much more than a couple bottles of selcon

A few months back (before I moved and the tank crash) the friend that shot the first video of my tank came by to test out some new lenses.....heres what the final product looked like......video was taken probably at the peek of how the tank looked before the holocaust.....was actually very hard for me to watch and the caption at the end made me....well......teary....I hope you all can enjoy it for the brilliant cinematography and editing that it is..... http://www.vimeo.com/16591694.......thanks Dan! I scanned through it (it's late and I shouldn't be up anymore at this point), but, what I did see was all very "WOW."

Having lived through more than a fair share of tank crashes .. I know the pain all too well, I relive it whenever I look at old photos or vids of tank setups past myself. But ... onwards and upwards. Sometimes the best you can do, is the best you can do... Take what you can learn from it and move forward.

The video was well done, albeit sad to watch. Sorry again hun for all the loss you went through. At least now version 2 is doing well and you're back on track.

Nice clams Doug! Your thread is still too X-rated for me though!

Neat video Dougy. Sad to see it all, but I'm positive that V2 is going to be bigger and better again!

Great vid Doug. Kinda bittersweet watching it though. On the other hand a year from now we'll be watching an even nicer V2 video.

Only a year from now??? Haha concidering Doug is doing up this tank with premo corals in this tank with even more knowledge under his belt then he did from V1...yah I give it eight months for sure and Doug will achieve what most of us concider amazing! I just cant wait til this tank meets its 2 year BDay, will be twice as stunning as the last version gauranteed.

Fantastic video Doug your tank was beautiful. I really did a double take when a few of your sps were 'waving' in the current. Then I realized they were mounted to wobble-rocks!

Love the closeup of the spinning snail and that one part with the yellow tang where it looks like there is a deep and blue cavern opening up behind it.

Work your magic I'm sure V2 at its peak will be even more amazing... and I'll make sure to see it this time
