lol yeah i had that fear with my 50 cutting out the overflow so much i forgot to chec kto see if it was tempered glass thank fully it wasnt or it would have been too late. glad it worked out for ya

yeppers not as hard as some would think if you take all the right steps. I have drill a couple dozens holes now and they just keep getting easier.

All that went through my head for both holes was " gee, wonder how much a 2x6 sheet of glass is gonna cost"
But ya, much easier than I thought, especially on thicker glass.

Glad it worked out well for you, the though of drilling glass makes me very nervous. Don't know if I'd ever have the guts to do it myself.
