Shelps, the boat is more fun, but definitely not cheaper. The typo in my last paragraph is strangely appropriate, but should read "but it's time to moron to new things" $1800 for new portlights this month, and hopefully thats the last of the expensive "deferred maintenance" projects. |

![]() I doubled my CA/ALK dosage on the doser after reading that! Absolutely stunning looking tank Rob, sad to see it get torn down. Out of curiosity why such a large difference in the concentrations of your CA/ ALK dosages?

![]() Calcium chloride can be dissolved at a higher concentration than sodium bicarbonate. I pretty much mix as much in as will stay in solution. BTW water parameters are tested regularly and dosages adjusted appropriately.
