Just wondering if you can comment on how the dry rock you are selling is different or better than "Caribsea South Seas Base Rock ". As "Caribsea South Seas Base Rock " states it: Has much more structure than any other commonly available aquascaping rock and is much more porous than others as well (you will get more rock for your money). South Seas base rock is a calcium carbonate base rock that is very similar to actual reef rock, and at one point actually was, although obtained terrestrially from ancient coral reefs underground. ![]() Without seeing Caribseas South Seas or Primo Reef Rock first hand I can only go by their description / photos. Our Reefer Rock would be identical in mineral makeup (calcium carbonate) but from their pictures I would say our rock would be more porous and more constant in characteristics (color, surface shape, porousness).

That, and Torsten (EcoReefer) is really great to deal with - I tried to set up a group buy on our local Toronto forum, which fell through, but Torsten was really awesome to work with at every step. I'd definitely recommend buying from him ![]()
