Don't buy it!! - You get what you pay for. Buy a LinkSys and buy it new.

I'm talking Modem and I think you're talking router. I'm still going to go with a Linksys router, I need a Telus compatible ADSL modem and the DLink is the logical choice.

Any 300G found in western Canada should work fine on Telus network. Second hand is a bit of risk though, you might be buying a brick. Too bad your in AB, I have a few old modems in the closet.

Yes - you ae correct. I just assumed it was a router. I didn't take the time to check. Dlink makes a reasonable DSL modem. Don't mind me.

Have you checked your modems specific port forward settings with Portforward.com? Also there is a awesome Neptune support forum over on RC and the guys there are great at getting the Apex up and running on a network.

I checked portforward.com and did not see this device listed. The firmware is custom telus which they have stated they do not support port forwarding on
Can it be done? Maybe but others have tried without much success.

Don't buy an old/used Dlink 300G modem. Trust me, you're just wasting you money buying that.

Just call Telus and see if you can get a Thompson SpeedTouch modem, then just buy a good wireless N router.
