I always shop at LFSs first. Many LFS will special order something for you, and if they don't have to put it on their shelves they might crack you a bit of a deal too.

You can try local but I haven't found anything that I can't get a lot cheaper elsewhere. JL Aquatics has Tek lights at a good price and can also bring non listed items in for you, in the states saltysupply.com has lots for good prices and ship USPS. If buying from the states be aware that a lot of companies only ship by courier (UPS, FedEx, etc) and on top of the shipping costs expect to pay up to an additional 40% in brokerage fees that's why I only deal with US companies that will ship USPS. Much cheaper and I've never had a single shipping problem in over 10 years.

You have to consider shipping, and bulbs in most cases.

I know I recently sold some AquaticLife 48" w/timer & MoonLEDs, and bulbs.

Aquatic Life T5 HO Light Fixture - 48" 6x54w was $549.99
Aquatic Life T5 HO Light Fixture - 48" 4x54w was $439.99

At Marine Aquaria we stock sunlight supply, Icecap and Giesemann fixtures. Our prices are close if not the same as most online retailers and its local.

Most of our sponsors carry both high end or cheaper T-5 fixtures. And most have them listed on their sites.
