Emperor Angel or Koran?

For sure a koran, I have an emperor and that is no juv emp. The back of the fish is very different for both fish. On a side note I have seen some big korans still with juv coloration. My LFS has a 8 inch still complete juv coloration and a buddy of my just got one from a friend who has had it for three years and is now a 4-6 inch fish still in juv colors. But this is no emp and if you had you heart set on one I would return it. Also the korans tends to be much cheaper than emps so hopefuly you didn't get nailed on the price.

Im really torn, the fish was 59.99 and i know normally emperor juv are that price and korans are about 49.99 so not a big deal at all, i already called him and he said he would give me a deal on another fish, or i can just return him, but problem is he is such a cool fish, so much personality, following me around the room, begging for food nonstop, swimming around all day when im there, Is not scared when my baby has his hands on the tank.

I think im going to keep him either way but thanks for your time guys!

I have had both...my koran the lines were straighter...looks more like me emperor as a juvenile.....

Definitely a Koran. Mine's about 6 inches still with juvi colours. Don't tell him he's ugly, he thinks he's beautiful and I agree.

yeah, i think hes a amazing fish right now, looks really cool and stuff, but when he gets older he gets more ugly haha. O well hes a cool fish so i am still happy with him.
