Default vortech

Vary it up. I'll run mine in lagoon mode for a week, crest mode for a week, short pulse for a couple weeks ( this makes the most waves if you set it to max power, and they are alternating pulses. I think this really helps to clean out the tank cause it'll reach everywhere in the tank) Recently, I've been trying long pulse mode, again alternating.

I just have a single mp40 and run it on reef crest mode 75% of the time. The rest of the time i'll have it in lagoon mode or setup a wave in short pulse mode.

I do reef crest/lagoon. I also have mine placed high though as its one of my potential back ups for water movement/oxygenation in the event of powerfailures.

I used to run lagoon mode constantly. Recently I switched to pulse mode and have it set to a wave about 1" high in my 45g. I wanted a wave like this, but thought it might make me sea sick...
