Swabbie

This motorized neck cleaner keeps your protein skimmer running at peak efficiency, while keeping you from having to clean out that foul-smelling mess by hand and stinking up your house. Your significant other will really love this device. Simply plug it into a timer (not included) or aquarium controller and set it to run for a few minutes 4 to 6 times per day. When run this way, no gunk will build up and fall back into your water. Your skimmer's neck will stay crystal clear all the time!

The Swabbie currently comes in several sizes as a replacement lid for your skimmer's collection cup. All lids are made from heavy duty 3/8" material. The single pivot point on the wiper allows Swabbie to clean conical necks as well. Not sure if your skimmer will accommodate Swabbie? MR5 Media Reactor

Description
MR5 Fluidized reaction chamber holds 5 cups of your favorite media. Comes standard with 2 sizes of filter pads for different media types, tubing, valve and barb connections. We ship the barb connections unglued so you have the option of installing this reactor with standard 1/2" schedule 40 plumbing if you choose.

The MR5 ships standard with a pair of Mesh Disks, which makes this reactor an excellent choice for fluidizing Biopellets. The mesh disks don't clog and are the correct size to keep the pellets contained. This means very low maintenance biopellet filtration!

Want to maximize space usage under your stand? Now we offer these reactors in custom heights, so you can take advantage of vertical space. Each extra inch of reactor height increases media capacity by 1/2 cup. Note that a custom height reactor takes us about a week to build & let cure before it can ship.

This lid does replace your stock lid and is available in almost any size. The suggested retail price is $79.99

Correct, the Aquamedic versions are made to specifically fit versions of their own OEM skimmers, the Avast models are made to fit any skimmer of any size.
