I had an algea bloom when i first started my 65, put in a 9w uv. It helped to reduce and control it. You will get many opinions on this issue, I will always have one on hand just in case just my 2 cents.

hey I'm in Red Deer, new to this forum and new to saltwater. I've been keeping freshwater for a few years now and I'm now wanting to start a saltwater tank. I recently purchased a 220 gallon tank and I'm wanting help/advice on setting up filtration like sumps or canisters. Anyway any help you can offer would be great

No worries here, welcome aboard the CRAZY TRAIN of salt. What do you have for tanks?
