YEAH it is selfish...he is not paid to fight. Yes he has always done this but that does not make it the right thing. If he had always snorted coke to get up for games would this be the right thing? The team needs him on the ice and will be far worse with him injured, he needs to learn that his role has evolved and fighting should not be part of it.

LMAO! Maybe in your little world thats selfish. Whats the difference if he snorted coke to get up for games??? Didn't Fuhr do that??? Maybe you should go back a couple of years ago when he did get hurt(non fight injury)and check the stats,the Flames did quite well without him on the ice. He's just as much a leader off the ice as on. Your points are not valid. He has curbed how much he fights and I'm OK with that. But I'm also OK with him havin a scrap every once in awhile,thats the way he is and he won't change.
