![]() Hagen makes a surface skimming attachment for the Fluval http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS...surfaceskimmer it is a very cheap add on and will solve your problem.

![]() +1 on the surface skimmer. Also I would look at getting some power heads to get some flow in the tank it will help keep dietrus suspended in the water column and let your filter remove it. They will also help if you are having any algae problems (hair, cyno, ect).

![]() thanx guys, i bought a powerhead off of ebay and its crap it hardly moves the water at all. Its a boyu wm-101. came from japan..... what is a good wave maker that is a resonable price???

As suggested already, your tank will benefit from the use of some well place powerheads for water movement. They will help to break down and dissolve fish poop so that it can be skimmed out by your skimmer or filtered out by your filter. |
