The last few days I've had a few incidents...

To begin, I got tired of picking up my frags on a daily basis. I was going to wait until I had my new lighting. but I decided to just go ahead and epoxy everything down.

Heres how it turned out... (please forgive the photo, I don't take the best ones)

turned out pretty good and I'm happy with everything overall.

I epoxyed everything around 4-5pm. My lights turn off at 10pm. Everything was working properly before I went to bed.

Now around 3:30am, I woke up too a large noise, unrelated too my tank, as I tried to fall asleep again I heard a distinive sound of a pump running dry.

My skimmer had gone nuts, it was making clear skimmate. my carpet was soaked with about 5 gallons of water. My return pump was shotting bubbles like crazy into the display.

All because of the the stupid epoxy.

Now since the minor flooding. One of my large sqaum, hasn't been doing well He's been pinching. Yesterday he had a 35minute freshwater bath. He looks better today, but still not fully expanding. Not sure whether all the bubbles that were shot into the tank or if the epoxy caused this. Or it could even be something else.

You've got some sweet stuff there....and sweet pics......

um......not a suharsonoi.......more likely a granulosa or multiacuta......suharsonoi has very pointy tips

sucks that the house flooded.....have a look around for the DDs epoxy....it doesnt mess with skimmer nearly as bad as some...

The epoxy I used was terrible, took forever to harden and it's not really sticky.

Yeah the flood sucked, I had a second flood last night from my Ro unit only about 2 gallons :/

Thanks for the id! My camera is pretty old, and I still haven't figured it out lol.
