Snails That Worm Their Way Into Tanks http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-01/rs/index.php Generally only the smaller variety are considered a pest as they are more likely to proliferate all over the tank creating sharp little tubes on all of the hard surfaces that will cut your hand if you're not careful. Read the article and make your own informed decision. I have had both small and large types and I personally haven't had any problems with them.

![]() I have a couple of those tube worms and their mucus regularly is entangled on my sps, zoas and palys and clams with 0 ill effects...
I've had them for over a year like this. |

![]() Thanks for the help guys! and yes, the starfish was HUGE, when i saw it my jaw kinda dropped.. his legs are about 4 inches long! and yeah.. the snail is about 3 inches too.. haha, I don;t mind him but I don't care for the web he dispenses.. altho it looks like a spiders web which is neat.
