odd question about plumbing

Is the end going into the sump under water? sounds like you are trapping air and need to vent it, I had the same problem, raising the end to just above the sump level cured one and a vent hole drilled just above the waterline (sump) cured the other, I can try to get you some pics to see what I mean.
