I'm charting my parameters on Reef Tools Live http://reeftools.com/live/profile.ph...ser_parameters

I only test mag bc I'm already there. I use ZeoMag in the Calcium reactor, so it should stay up

Dez, I like to keep mine at around 9 - 9.6. I'll get it there, it's just about dialing in. There is NOTHING out there that says keeping it at 7 is any worse/better, so I'm not sure why I picked my number

How are you controlling the reactor? In particular, how are you controlling the pH of the reactor, and how are you controlling the flow rate? Those are obviously key as you try to dial in the reactor.

Also...you should measure the alk output of the reactor as a measure of the effectiveness of your adjustments. (use 1/2 normal sample size and double your result because you could be looking at Alk as high as 30dkh.) Don't assume that higher flow rate means more Alk/Ca contribution. Lower pH most often increases output, but there is a limit to how low you can go before the media just turns to mush and plugs up the reactor.

Alk measurement x flow rate = reactor output.
