It's a cheap, easy way to add some peace of mind. You'll have plenty of other stuff to keep you up at night

i made a base using pvc pipes and elbows and tees,then i zip tied some white landscapers cloth to the pvc(3/4" spaced 2" apart) this also keeps the sand above the glass
