Don't forget some leveling feet -unless you know that the floor where it will sit is perfectly flat.

I bought white marine epoxy paint at home depot and went crazy on the inside of my stand.
Stuff really works, two solid coats over everything and you wont have to worry about leaks or the wood absorbing water and warping.
