When you need them, those big channel locks sure do come in handy.
Good thing you noticed the leak when you did.

D'oh!! When it rains it pours.. Unless you live in Calgary where it rains and snows.. And the snow comes at you at a horizontal vector.

Pictures look great as usual.

Think you're looking at the floor spill from the wrong perspective though. I'd be all "Meh .. what's the landlord gonna do? EVICT ME?"

HEHE, the floor will be fine. At least the tank didn't crack or something bad like that.

I guess, Im really fortunate to be sitting at home ATM.......normally I would be up at 6:00 am to go to work......I wouldnt even have noticed.....only noticed as I was sitting at the computer having my "second cup", perving canreef, at about 8:00 that the bottom of the back panel of the stand was wet

not sure.....this is the second time its been wet!.......a cracked tank would have forced me to either upgrade.....or quit

all dry today so it looks like I got everything fixed......gonna be a little stressful not knowing if there is any damage there, until I pretty much hand the landlord the keys......

Im wondering now if I may have an issue inside the tank......I had two frags rtn on me the same night of the leak...... got me wondering if the colony rtn from last week might be related to this and not the nems fault?....another change I made besides stopping the iron dosing was, I've been doubling up on my "coral snow" dosage, because of the mess in the add-on tank(theres some cyano as well as the macro)....so not sure if this is what caused the stress.........

params before my water change on Monday were.

DKH 10 (perfect)
CA 390 (adjusted the profilux to now dose 30ml, 24 times a day)
MG 1350 (not too bad, presently dose 5/8 cup every two weeksish, will bump up to 3/4 cup or possibly 3/8 cup every week)

I didnt test the nitrates.....will do that after the morning dosing has a chance to run through the system a bit....

only fish I can get a good shot of.....

coralscape.
