I have found research is not enought and most LFS are not always
forthcoming on how compatable certain fish or corals are.Sometimes they just dont know.Some of the fish on your wish list will eat some of the corals on your list. Also your Hippo Tang which you are wise to sell is too big for a 34 gallon.I have found the best thing to do is find a mentor someone who will tell you the straight goods on what you should or shouldnt get.I was very fortunate to have found a mentor who was patient and understanding and also honest when I wanted to buy something I had no business buying.It will save you alot of heartache and money in the long run.I take it your parents are not helping you? so perhaps you could seek out a mentor here?

which ones will eat coral? and i know im selling my hippo tang, when i got the tank it had it in it and i have been putting it up for sale since i got it because i know it deserves a better home, and i put it up for trade but SOMEONE (cough cough christy75 or whatever her name is) deleted it! and i have been trying ever since

Her name is christy5, not cough, cough christy 75 or whatever and all the work she does, is one of the reasons we have this board for us to sell/buy and post on.

Yes there are a lot of people that help to keep Canreef a great site. Including all the members.

Some members Like saltwaterseahorses or what ever don't seam to know how to behave in an online community and when told how to behave hold a grudge. This type of member does not help Canreef and doesn't end up staying long
